Silva received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education, summa cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire where she studied clarinet with Dr. Elizabeth Gunlogson. While at UNH, Silva was a member of the Wind Symphony, Drum Major of the Wildcat Marching Band and a performer with “The Clarinet Collection” chamber ensemble. Silva has maintained several clarinet studios throughout New Hampshire and remains an active performer throughout New England.[/person]
