Tuckerman Brewing Company

Tuckerman Brewing Company was founded in 1998 by owners Kirsten Neves and Nik Stanciu. Their facility at 66 Hobbs St in Conway houses  production and packaging as well as a tasting room and outdoor beer garden. Tuckerman Brewing is most widely known for the first beer they produced: the Tuckerman Pale Ale. Starting out brewing with a traditional approach, the operation has evolved to include some new techniques and styles while never wavering from the importance of detail and precision in well crafted brews. The brewery now offers styles including stouts, brown ales, kolsch, pilsers, and New England Style IPAs. In 2021, the brewing operation expanded to include hard ciders. The brewery is now a place for the community and visitors alike to gather and enjoy the Valley experience. Tuckerman Brewing has thrived with local support and actively gives back to the Mount Washington Valley.

White Mountain Puzzles

In 1978, the same year that Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream was founded in Vermont, two entrepreneurs in New Hampshire started a small poster company that evolved into White Mountain Puzzles. Founders Cronan Minton and Ted Wroblewski are still involved but have turned over the day to day operations and ownership to their respective sons, Sean and Colin. Ted and Cronan are proud that White Mountain Puzzles has grown into one of the top puzzle brands in the United States. In 2018 White Mountain Puzzles represented New Hampshire as one of only 50 companies – one from each state – invited to the White House for the Made in America Showcase.

Jewelry by Timothy Psaledakis & Friends

The path to Jewelry by Tim and Friends is over 40 years long, starting with the gift of a rock tumbler for Tim’s 9th birthday. The next step in the journey occurred in 1990, when he applied for a sales position with J.R. Dunn Jewelers in South Weymouth, MA, where I was also working full time as a Navy weather forecaster. The bench jeweler and Tim quickly became friends and remain in regular contact. Step forward to when Tim’s son was 2 years old , and the Navy wanted him to go onto an aircraft carrier for 6 years. He left the Navy to raise a family here in the Mount Washington Valley, opening first on Reporters Court as C & T Crafters in spring of 1996. With 20+ years of experience as a jeweler, today Tim says his shop boasts “some of the best tooling found in the State of New Hampshire,” along with “century-old equipment that has proved its worth for milenia.”
