Claudia Keller – trustee

Claudia graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Applied Studies, Woodwinds.  She studied with world-renowned saxophonist Joe Viola as well as clarinetist Andre Lizotte, former clarinetist with The Boston Pops and other prestigious ensembles. After college she worked as a freelance musician in the Boston area performing in blues bands, jazz bands, wedding bands, duos and top 40 bands. In the 80’s and 90’s she taught privately at The John Payne Music Center in Brookline, Massachusetts, teaching 40 private students and four ensembles.

Claudia eventually moved to teaching in independent schools in Massachusetts, becoming the Head of Music at Brooks School in North Andover, MA where she taught for 20 years. 

In the mid 90’s Claudia and her husband, who is also a musician, decided that they wanted to eventually move to the Mount Washington Valley to enjoy the fresh air, opportunities for motorcycle riding and clean lakes for swimming. They bought a home in Madison in 2012 and moved to the area permanently in 2020.

Claudia is currently performing with a variety of groups, playing most styles of music.
