Song Stylist and Harpist Elizabeth Roth Performs for First Friday
Elizabeth Roth combines voice and harp in her own distinctive style at this month’s First Friday noontime concert, presented on February 1stby Mountain Top Music at the Brown Church on Main Street in Conway. Formerly performing with her husband for 25 years as half of the duo Silk & Steel, Elizabeth Roth is now performing as a solo artist, as well as teaching voice and harp at Mountain Top Music Center.
Described as having one of the best voices in the business, Elizabeth, who accompanies herself on the harp, has performed all over Maine, New England and throughout Ohio and Arizona. She provides an eclectic selection of popular, Broadway, show, folk, and seafaring songs interspersed with classical instrumental harp selections.
Mountain Top Music Center’s “First Friday Faculty and Friends” concerts are held at 12 Noon on the first Friday of each month at Conway Village Congregational Church (aka The Brown Church.) Admission is free, though donations towards the Majestic renovation project are gratefully accepted at the door.
