Mackenzie was born and raised in Indiana and grew up chasing any music or theatre opportunity she could find. Although she holds a degree in History, she studied classical voice, acting, and musical theatre at Hope College in Holland, MI. Mackenzie is the current music teacher at Northeast Woodland Public Charter School. She also acts and directs with M&D Playhouse, and teaches a theatre camp in Jackson. As a teacher, Mackenzie’s goal is to help each student grow their confidence and feel comfortable with their voice. She loves collaboration and helping students of any age achieve their goals.
