Jane Hively – Voice, piano

Jane got her bachelors of music in voice performance at Boston University, and a masters of music at Schiller College/Strasbourg, France. She did postgraduate study in voice and opera at the Guildhall School of Music in London, England. She has sung opera, musicals, sacred music and cabaret. For ten years, she performed with her bagpiper husband as Mountain Streams Music, playing harp and bringing Celtic folk music to audiences across New Hampshire.

In her teaching, Jane concentrates on helping students of all ages to build an exercise routine that will sustain their singing. She teaches breath control, articulation, and all the building blocks of successful musical artist.
Jane also teaches beginning to intermediate piano, and harp.
