Jack Donahue – trustee
A long-term music enthusiast, Jack Donahue brings a strong technology and financial support background to Mountain Top Music (MTM). When databases were first emerging, Jack wrote MUMIS, his “Music Management Information System.” to track and catalog his music collection. Professionally, Jack has worked with database development and support, as well as network support for the earliest AI systems, and since 2008 with customer relationship marketing systems for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Mid-career, Jack became a full-time dad for 12 years, while his wife, Peg, continued her career. During this time he co-lead a Girl Scout troop of 16 girls, handling the administration and planning and executing the various activities, outings and camping trips.
An avid photographer since the age of seven, Jack also has a keen interest in aviation and earned his private pilot’s license many years ago.
Jack and his wife, Peg, love to explore and travel. After being introduced to the Mt. Washington Valley years ago, they purchased a second home at Silver Lake in 1994. They became year-round residents in 2017. In 2018 they took Mike Sakasah’s summer jazz history classes and became hooked on MTM. They have continued with the summer classes and have been enthusiastic MTM supporters ever since.
