- Mountain Top's tuition fees are set prior to each semester and will be listed with the Class Schedule and in the newsletter. Tuition assistance is available based on a sliding scale. Families with two or more enrollments per semester may take a 5% discount off total tuition.
Payments:
- Payment for a full semester's tuition may be made by check or money order by printing our Registration Application. A link to this Registration Application is also provided with each class description listed in our class schedule. Checks should be made out to Mountain Top Music Center or MTMC. There will be a $10 fee on all returned checks.
Mountain Top Music Center operates on a fee-for-service basis. This means that students enrolled in lessons or classes must have paid for those classes or lessons before they take place. Specifically, before receiving confirmation of enrollment, Mountain Top Music Center must have received a deposit equal to the cost of one class or lesson. Students then must pay fees for the remainder of the classes so that they are always at least up-to-date in paying for lessons/classes. Students whose accounts are in arrears will not be able to continue lessons or classes or enroll for future sessions.
Tuition Assistance:
- Mountain Top Music Center's tuition assistance program works on a sliding scale. We award different amounts of tuition assistance depending on household income. To determine whether you qualify for Mountain Top Music Center's tuition assistance program, find your family size on the left column of the table below, then find the income level appropriate to your household in the columns to the right. We ask you to consider your total gross income, taxable or not, in figuring your income level. Mountain Top sometimes awards tuition assistance to families who do not meet income limits when special circumstances are involved.
