Mountain Top Music Center General Class Policies    
     
If you have enrolled, or are considering enrollment, in any of our classes, workshops or camps, please review our General Policies.

Class Cancellation:
Mountain Top Music Center reserves the right to cancel any group class that does not meet the required minimum of students.

Instrumental Rental:
Mountain Top Music Center has a limited number of instruments available to rent. Rental fees are $15 per month.

Student Responsibilities:
The study of music can be a joyous and rewarding experience. It offers a unique opportunity to develop simultaneously one's self-expression, artistry and self-discipline. In order to make good progress you will need to do the following:
1. Attend lessons regularly and be on time.
2. Practice every day in a quiet place. Remember that the quality of practice time is as important as quantity.
3. Keep your music and instrument in good order and bring your music to lessons.
4. Attend live music performances at every opportunity.
5. Enjoy yourself and remember to take pride in being a student of music.

Missed Lessons:
Students pay for all lessons in the semester regardless of attendance. There are no makeups for individual absences in group classes. Makeup's for notified student absences in the private lesson schedule are limited to one per semester A student is required to notify the office of any absence out of courtesy to the instructor. This does not exempt the student from payment. If a teacher is absent, the student will be notified as promptly as possible. All teacher absences will be made up.

Snow Cancellation:
Mountain Top Music Center will cancel class on days that public schools are closed ( as announced on WMWV 93.5 FM). If inclement weather starts later in the day, call the office at 447-4737 to check for a recorded message on the days in question.
