With only a few seats left, patrons are likely to be seated in the balcony, up a short flight of stairs from the dance floor and buffet level. If you have mobility concerns and are unable to be seated in the balcony, please let us know that in the “optional comments” box on the reservation form.

ABOUT THE PJO

Started in 2004 and now under the direction of Dr. Chris Oberholtzer, this 18-piece jazz ensemble performs both traditional and contemporary music. The PJO features classic works from the Big Band libraries of Count Basie, Woody Herman, Stan Kenton and many others. The PJO also enjoys playing works written by its members, including Craig Skeffington, Willie Johnson, Chris Humphrey and Terry White, in addition to literature composed by jazz artists including Tom Kubis, Matt Harris, Bob Mintzer, Bill Holman and Maria Schneider.

Members of the PJO are professional musicians, many of whom have performed, recorded and toured with artists including Natalie Cole, Tony Bennett, Bob Mintzer, Marvin Stamm, Barry Manilow, Roberta Flack, the Temptations, the Artie Shaw Orchestra, and the Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Mike Sakash, Mountain Top saxophone teacher and jazz history presenter, is a long-time PJO member and leads the incredible sax section.

ABOUT STONE MOUNTAIN ARTS CENTER

Nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains, the Stone Mountain Arts Center is a beautiful timber frame music hall hosting national acts up close and personal in an equally beautiful setting.

This unique space is located just over the border from NH in Brownfield, Maine. Stone Mountain Arts Center is 15 minutes from North Conway NH, 1 hour and 15 minutes from Portland Maine, 2 1/2 hours from Boston, and 1 1/2 hours from Portsmouth NH.
